Montreal is the hockey capital of the world. The Montreal Canadiens are the most successful team in the history of team sports. Kryptex Canada designed and built a unique arena inside the Bell Centre, Montreal’s home of hockey.
To offer an ever-enriching experience to fans attending National Hockey League games at the Bell Centre, the Montreal Canadiens chose Echappe-toi/Kryptex. The idea was born from the experience of part of the club’s marketing team at Echappe-toi Montréal.
The design and electronics were developed in Saint-Étienne, as was the 3D rendering of the arena, which allows customers to tour the arena before its production. Manufacturing was carried out in Montreal at Kryptex’s workshops. The decoration and integration allowed the arena to be installed on the 6th floor of the Bell Centre.
The game was tested by more than 80 people before its launch, including Montreal Canadiens employees and escape room veterans, to fine-tune the details and ensure its success. It is now played every game night, just before the players begin taking the ice.
